Fevereiro 26, 1990
On a very cold February morning (the 26th) to be exact We traveled to the OVMC at 6:00 a.m. to bring this precious child into this world. She arrived at 11:05 weighing 6lbs.-8ozs., and was 19 inches long and looked like she was picked out of Beavers' butt. We were two of the happiest teen-agers in this whole world. She was beautiful, strawberry blonde hair, and the biggest, most beautiful sky blue eyes I'd ever seen. For the very first time in my life I had someting that was mine and that nobody could ever take away from me (or so I thought). Then and there I experienced what unconditional love was. Our entire lives resolved around this baby. She was so smart and did everything at a very early age. By the time she turned a year old she was bottle broke, potty trained, and was talking in complete sentences. We were blessed with a very intelligent child. Her toodler years were interesting, By age two she could tell you every part of her body and knew any color there was. She learned her abc's and could count to 99 by age three. By the time she turned four she was reading everything including the newspaper. I considered putting her in head-start but the only opening available was Grandview manner and I declined. One year later she started Kindergarden at Ritchie Elementry, that first day nearly killed me. I remember I stood there sobbing on the schools front steps and she patted my hand and said its okay mommy, its just school. Those elementry days flew by. Before I knew it she was starting middle school at Warwood. At that time she tried out for chorus and made county and state, and oh how she loved to sing.Oh those rebellant teenage years, She dyed her hair every color imaginable and wore some of the stangest clothing but we did manage to get through it. Before I knew it she was enroling in Wheeling Park where things were so very different than any other school. In 2004 she pushed and pushed me until I took and passed my GED and within a year was enroled at wvncc for nursing (all thanks to her). Three months before she turned 18 she moved to her very first place on warwood avenue and worked full time at a local telemarketing job. Although I suffered severely with empty nest sydrome I was very proud of her. In November of 07 we enroled together at northern for psychology as our major, and english as her minor and social work as mine. Beav went through and graduated coal mining school and we decided to move to Buckhannon where he'd been raised by an aunt and uncle, not to mention mining jobs were every where down there. At first Stephanie had no intentions on moving with us & that nearly broke my heart but I respected her decision. Within a week of moving she called to tell me she was going with us because we were her life and she wasnt staying in wheeling without us. I was so happy to hear her say those words. In June of 08 we moved and things were very different down there. Stephanie got a job and worked at Hardees for a few months and later (October) got on at Lowes Home Improvement, Buckhannon, WV. She worked the returns desk for quite some time and was later moved to lumber only a couple days before her accident. She loved her job and the people she worked with. Adventually Lowe's employee's became her second family. Anyone who knows her knew she was a very unique, intelligent, sincere young lady but could also be a real bitch when she wanted to be. In her 19 years,4 months, and 19 days of life she made many friends, had family that adored her, and will never be forgotten. Stephanie was a wonderful daughter, an awesome sister, a cool aunt, a precious niece,an imaculant cousin, a very much loved grand daughter, a dedicated employee, and a true, true friend. When she loved, she loved hard and she was loved by so many. If I had oppertunity to do it all over again I would even if I knew what was going to happen in the end. She was everything to me... my first born, my only daughter, my strenth, and my very best friend. I love you Stephanie Renee...
